On Saturday May 20, the Linfield Academy held the annual awards night at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Shaws Bridge.
After another successful season, the players were recognised for their efforts and achievements over the season.
There were a number of awards to be presented on the night - Leading goalscorers, players’ player of the year and International recognition awards. Braiden Graham, Noah Stewart and Aodhan Doherty were presented with their shirts for making it into the first team match day squad.
Dave P received the Frankie Taylor award for the excellent work that he does for the Academy and Braiden Graham received the James Elliott memorial trophy for his outstanding contribution to the academy over a number of years.
In attendance on the night were chairman Roy McGivern and club directors Michael Jones, Ronnie Morrison and Paul Weir, Linfield Legend Noel Bailie MBE, Kris Lindsay, Philip Mitchell, Jim Kerr, Alfie Wylie, current club captain Jamie Mulgrew, Linfield Swifts coach Michael Gault and the other coaches were also in attendance.
Appreciation is extended to everyone who helped out on the night and with the presentations of the trophies.
A great night was had by all
