2012s Win Belfast Youth Cup
Linfield 2012s played in the Belfast Youth Cup this week and walked away with
silverware after winning the top tier Cup competition.
Being drawn in a group with Dongeal School Boys, Ballinamallard, Maiden City
and Carryduff Colts, the Blues topped their group with 4 wins from 4 games,
scoring 16 goals and conceding 0 in the process.
This put them in a semi-final against a strong Cherry Orchard side from
Dublin, with the Blues winning 3-1.
Linfield progressed to the final to play an inform Crusaders team, however,
the wee blues ran out winners with an impressive 1-0 win, making them the
Belfast Youth Cup Champions of 2023.
Linfield’s very own Joshua Clugston was also named MoTM during the final.
