2008s All Ireland Champions

Sunday August 27, when Linfield 2008s became all-island champions in Armagh.

The game started off very nervily and St. Joseph’s got the first goal after 6 minutes but credit to our boys, they kept their composure and didn’t panic.

With Linfield controlling the majority of the first half, we eventually got the equaliser 10 minutes before the break, after great play by Allen and Watson on the right side and a wonderful finish from Hamilton.

Onto the second half, Linfield continued their dominance in the game, and got themselves the lead with a striker’s finish from Farr, the through ball played to him by Fox.

The last goal of the game came through Allen on the wide right with a fantastic deep cross and Farr getting onto the end of it with a sublime header.
