Steven Douglas Tribute Events.
Some time ago a small group of Linfield supporters got together to plan a tribute to popular and long serving player Steven Douglas. Unfortunately, due to the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic the original tribute evening planned for April 2020 was cancelled. A new date has now been arranged to honour Steven in recognition of his ten years service to Linfield Football Club.
The evening event will take place on Saturday June 11 in Jumna Street Linfield Supporters Club and will be preceded by a match between Linfield Legends v Steven Douglas Select X1 at The Hammer Complex. Many former players including members of the 2005/2006 Clean Sweep team will be in action.
Steven Douglas joined Linfield in the summer of 2003 and played 266 games for Linfield over 10 seasons, scoring 13 goals and winning many trophies, including four Irish League winners medals.
Tickets priced at only £5 allow entry into both events and can be obtained from the Linfield Superstore, any member of the organising Committee or by emailing
