Linfield Stewarding Team
Linfield Football Club is keen to increase the number of volunteer Club Stewards who perform a very valuable service for the Club on Match Days.
Any fans, male or female, who are physically fit, over 18 years of age and keen to join our team are asked to give their names to either Gary Steele or Sam McFarland on match days or send an email to
office@linfieldfc.com marked for the attention of Gary Steele. Details of any relevant experience should also be included.
After interview and selection, volunteers will be expected to attend and pass the Stewards Training course and be available from up to 2 hours before kick-off on match days.
Linfield stewards attend home, and (in normal circumstances) away fixtures, performing crowd management duties.
The corona virus pandemic restrictions have presented numerous challenges with regard to management and flow of spectators and an increased number of motivated in-house volunteer club stewards would be most beneficial and welcome, as we hopefully continue down a road to a return to a much sought after normality.
