David Healy announces news of a loan move for Alex Moore
"I wish to advise supporters that I've agreed a deal to allow young goalkeeper Alex Moore to go out on loan to Dungannon Swifts until the opening of the January transfer window.
Alex is a highly promising goalkeeper who's already made an impact in our first team and he was rewarded with his first professional contract during the course of last season.
This is a good move for Alex, for Linfield and for Dungannon. Alex will benefit greatly from increased first team game opportunities at what is a really good club with an excellent manager in Rodney McAree at Dungannon.
The greater first team match time will aid Alex's ongoing development and Dungannon will benefit in the short term and of course, we will benefit in the longer term.
Other goalkeepers of ours have benefited in similar ways in the past and I'm sure Alex will do really well and make a positive impression during his time at Dungannon.
We will monitor his progress at Dungannon with a keen interest and we would take this opportunity to wish him every success during his loan spell at Dungannon.
He should feature for his loan club in their friendly game with Ballinamallard today."
