David Healy announces contract news for 3 young players.
“I’m delighted to be able to advise our supporters that we’ve been able to agree the following contracts with 3 of our promising young players.
Both Trai Hume and Ross Larkin have agreed 2 year extensions to take effect upon the expiry of their existing contracts at the end of this season.
Young goalkeeper David Walsh has signed his first professional contract and he has put pen to paper for this season and 2 further seasons beyond then.
It’s great these talented young players have shown their commitment to this club by pledging their futures through the signing of those contract extensions.
I have no doubt that they will all make a significant contribution to the future of this club and they will all serve as a fine example to other young players in our Academy that they too can come through our under age system and earn professional contracts within our first team squad.
Ross has earned international recognition with Northern Ireland under 21s tonight and he was on the scoresheet for them in Malta a few days ago, so having impressed in our early season Champions League games, he’s had an eventful start to the new season.”
