David Healy announces news of a new signing.
“I’m delighted to advise our supporters that we’ve today signed 23 year old central defender Michael Newberry until the end of next season.
The signing is subject to the normal international clearance protocols.
Michael came up through the ranks at Newcastle United and played last season in the first division of the Icelandic League with Vikingur Olafsvik. Whilst he was born in England he qualifies for NI and has played for Northern Ireland at Under 21 level.
He’s a player I know well and he will be an excellent addition to the squad.
I’m really looking forward to working with him over the coming months.”
