David Healy announces news of agreement of a contract extension for Niall Quinn.
“I’m delighted to be able to advise our supporters that we’ve reached agreement with Niall Quinn on a further one year contract extension on top of his existing contract.
At present Niall is contracted to this club until the end of next season but this contract extension means he has committed himself to this club until the end of the 2022/23 season.
Niall has been a stalwart of this club for several years graduating through our Academy and he continues to be a role model and inspiration to all our aspiring young players hoping to working their way through to our first team squad.
He’s an important, versatile and popular member of our squad who’s won countless honours over the years and he will continue to make a major contribution to our first team squad over the duration of this richly deserved extended contract.
I’m sure this news will be well received by our loyal supporters and the news is a real boost to everyone at the club ahead of a huge derby game at the Oval on Tuesday night.”
