David Healy provides a contract update with regard to Stephen Fallon.
“I’m delighted to be able to advise our supporters that Stephen Fallon has agreed and signed a contract extension.
At present, his contract was due for review at the end of the 2021/22 season but this one year extension means that he’s now contracted with the club until the end of the 2022/23 season.
Stephen is only 24 years old but he’s an experienced player with over 125 appearances for this club and this is good news for the club that he’s become the latest important player to extend their stay at the club.
Stephen is an underrated and dependable player and I know he will continue to make a significant contribution to the club over the duration of this extended contract.
Stephen is richly deserving of this contract extension and the news, coming a few days before a big game at the Oval, will serve as a big boost for supporters and everyone at the club.”
