David Healy announces news of the signing of Andrew Clarke.
“I’m delighted to be able to advise our supporters that Andrew Clarke has agreed to join us on a 2 year contract.
Andrew is an exciting prospect who we were aware of when he was at Saintfield United and of course, he was with Crusaders last year.
He actually played against us at Windsor Park in a post split league game and he’s an 18 year old who has tremendous potential.
I’m looking forward to working with him on the training pitch and his addition to the squad will certainly increase the competition for places among the players in our squad.”
Andrew Clarke spoke of his delight at signing for Linfield.
"I’m delighted to be here and I am looking forward to the new season. My first Irish League start was a few months ago at Windsor Park aged 18, an amazing experience, and I can’t wait to play there again in front of the fans.
Jamie Mulgrew coached me for four years at youth level, so I’m looking forward to playing with him and hopefully, helping the club win more trophies."
