David Healy reveals news of a signing from Larne and a departure to Larne.
“I want to advise our supporters that we’ve today signed Martin Donnelly from Larne on a two year contract.
Martin is a player I’ve known for a long time and admired from afar, so I want to welcome him to the club.
He’s got a wealth of experience in the Irish League and he comes to us after a successful full time period at Larne.
He’s in good shape and has a thoroughly professional atttitude, so he will readily fit in with our new full time structure.
He can play in various positions and I’m really looking forward to working with him.
He is an enthusiastic lad who will offer us a lot, on and off the pitch and I’m delighted to have secured this signing.”
Martin Donnelly spoke to Linfieldfc.com after signing his new two year contract at Windsor Park.
‘I’m buzzing to be here and I can’t wait to get going. After speaking with David Healy, I’ve been really excited about the prospect of joining the club and I can’t wait to meet the players at training and get down to the real hard work.
This is a great opportunity for me and one I'm determined to make the most of, by making a positive contribution to the club over the duration of my contract.”
David Healy also announced news of a departure to Larne.
‘I want to advise our supporters that Navid Nasseri has today signed for Larne.
Navid came in a year ago and made a contribution to our success last season.
I want to thank him for his contribution and wish him well in his new challenge at Larne.”
