David Healy announces news of a first professional contract for Josh Archer.
“I’m delighted to be able to advise our supporters that one of our young scholars, Josh Archer has now signed his first professional contract with the club.
Josh has agreed a contract with the club until the end of next season and it’s fitting reward for the efforts he has put in working with the other young scholars alongside our first team squad.
He’s played in several first team games this season and he has been making great progress training and playing alongside our experienced and talented midfield players, Jamie Mulgrew, Chris Shields, Stephen Fallon, Kyle McClean and Cameron Palmer.
I’ve no doubt that Josh will have a bright future ahead of him, if he continues to show the same positive attitude that he has during his time as a player in our innovative scholarship scheme.
