David Healy announces news of a contract extension for Josh Archer.
“I am really pleased to advise our supporters that we’ve reached agreement with Josh Archer for him to extend his contract for a further 3 years.
He’s had a year long loan spell at Portadown and will come back to fight for a place in our squad, having benefited from the experience he’s picked up at Shamrock Park.
He’s a young player with a lot of potential and he will be more than familiar with the surroundings, so he will settle straight back in again with our pre-season preparations.
I want to place on record my appreciation to David Campbell for his assistance in reaching a suitable conclusion to our contract discussions and I also want to thank our recruitment and development manager Willie McKeown for his significant efforts in securing a successful outcome to the contract negotiations.”
Josh Archer spoke of his delight at extending his contract with Linfield.
