Appreciation from Linfield vice chairman

Several days ago Linfield FC reported that the club’s vice chairman had been admitted to hospital.
The club can now confirm that Stephen was released from hospital this afternoon to continue his recovery at home.
Stephen has provided the following brief statement to Linfieldfc.com
“I’m delighted to be home after my spell in hospital.
Firstly, I want to place on record my appreciation to all the medical professionals in Belfast’s Royal Victoria Hospital for all the expert care and attention they gave to me during my time in hospital.
Secondly, I want to thank everyone at the club and so many supporters, for countless good will messages of concern and support over the past few difficult days. The kindness of so many people was such a source of comfort and it certainly helped sustain me through a worrying time.
I want to thank everyone for the kindness I have received. It’s been greatly appreciated and I look forward to seeing so many people when I’m hopefully fully recovered in the days ahead.”
