The Premiership game against Newry City was a memorable one for Kirk Millar.
On what was his 400th appearance for Linfield, Kirk was handed the captaincy for the special occasion.
Kirk scored two goals in the 6-1 win and was awarded the Linfield player of the match award sponsored by Ronnie Morrison.
Presenting the award was Linfield member and premier seat holder Phil Middleton who travels over to most Linfield home games from his home in Derbyshire in the East Midlands.
Phil has also been a regular at most Linfield away games in Europe and he’s looking forward to returning to Windsor Park next weekend for the Premiership game against Glentoran.
