Congratulations to Linfield FC Women Swifts - Electric Ireland Academy League Winners for the 2023 season.
Crusaders under 19s defeated Glentoran under 19s 4-3 at the Dub last night to confirm Linfield Swifts as league winners.
Before last night Glentoran were the only team who could overhaul Linfield and while Glentoran could still finish the season level on points with Linfield, Linfield’s better head to head record of two wins to one would confirm the title in the event of a tie on points.
Linfield have one game remaining - away to Cliftonville under 19s at Solitude at 8-15pm on Wednesday.
