Several weeks ago hundreds of kind and generous Linfield supporters requested not to take up the option of a refund on tickets bought for the postponed away League game on Friday March 20.
Linfield FC is now in a position to reveal that after refunds processed from the total ticket money collected for this game, the club’s official partner charity The Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice is set to receive a fantastic donation of £7 864.
The figure of £7 864 represents the amount of money supporters have chosen not to claim in ticket refunds but instead have opted to donate their money to the very worthwhile cause of the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice.
In addition, a recent Justgiving appeal on this website raised an additional £2 000 plus for the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice.
In the next week or two Linfield FC will transfer this fantastic amount of £10 000 plus raised by our very generous supporters to our official partner charity.
On behalf of the Children’s Hospice who provide expert care for so many young people in our country, a huge thank you to all the many Linfield supporters who have made this tremendous donation possible.
Full coverage of the money presentation to the Children’s Hospice will be forthcoming in the coming weeks.
