Linfield supporters are encouraged to again show the kindness and generosity they are well known for, by bringing chocolate Christmas selection boxes to a collection point behind the Railway Stand, before Saturday's Premiership game against Carrick Rangers at Windsor Park.
All of the donations will be delivered by the Greater Village Regeneration Trust (GVRT) to children in the local South Belfast area in the run up to Christmas.
As was the case in 2021, this is a collaborative effort between Linfield FC, the Linfield Supporters Trust, the GVRT and Unite the Union who have all appealed for wholehearted backing from the club's supporters.
Linfield General manager Pat Fenlon wholeheartedly backs the plan. "This initiative sees Linfield FC, the Supporters Trust, GVRT and Unite the Union working together to provide lots of local children with a welcome boost in the run up to Christmas and I would appeal to all to give generously to the collection.”
