At a function at the 1st Ballyclare LSC premises in Abercorn Drive in the County Antrim town on Saturday evening, a sizeable cheque presentation was made to the parent club.
1st Ballyclare LSC chairman Ivan Higgins made the generous cheque presentation to Linfield chairman (and 1st Ballyclare LSC member) Roy McGivern.
Also in attendance were the 1st Ballyclare LSC President and Linfield vice chairman Stephen Dickson, as well as Linfield director and 1st Ballyclare LSC member Andy Conn.
The interior of the 1st Ballyclare LSC premises proudly feature murals of 3 Linfield players from the town of Ballyclare.
The 3 players are - Colin Crawford, a Linfield left back from the successful Roy Coyle era of the 1980s, former Linfield, Nottingham Forest, Newcastle, Manchester City and Northern Ireland goalkeeper (and St Johnstone manager), Tommy Wright and current Linfield winger Joel Cooper.
